A Bit About Me...
I figure if you have ended up on this page of the website, you actually want to get to know me. It is difficult to write about yourself in an interesting way, especially when you're probably here for the artistic content.

My real name is Loki, which is awkward in this hobby given the connotations it has with Marvel, God of War and of course Norse mythology. So if you were curious about the moniker, well, it’s just my name. The “Khaotic” part comes from the fact that the first 40K army I collected all those years ago was a Chaos army, and I just went with the Greek‑style spelling to be a bit more unique.
I’ve been artistic for a VERY long time. In secondary school, I was drawing weapons from Warhammer in my textbook instead of paying attention to my French lessons. In all fairness, I’ve clearly used the art more than I’ve ever used the French language. These days I can barely draw at all, but I can certainly paint.
Since I left uni I have gotten much deeper into the painting side of the hobby and now purely just paint miniatures. Living in the middle of nowhere ensures you dont get a local community to play wargames with, and it seems im much better at painting them anyway.
The freedom of not having to worry about correct base sizes and "this unit cant actually have this weapon" allows for so much more creative freedom, which is the best part of the experience as it is.

Recently (as of 2025) I have become significantly better at painting, hence building this website and trying to put together a somewhat good looking social media presence. I reintroduced myself into painting after a few years off and somehow managed to paint my best mini first try (being the tyranid in the diorama on the left). After that I painted the Blood Angel (on the left again), which was another improvement on my skills. I then developed them into my first diorama. Unfortunately UV resin is a pain to work with so there are things I would do differently next time.
I paint purely for the love of the result and the skills I gain each time I try something new, which is why I love the idea of offering my skills to others. I get to develop my own talents, I get to work on a cool mini I may not have bought for myself, and I get to share my work with new people.
